AECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to manage a variety of industrial investigation/remediation projects.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate investigation/remediation project and remedial design experience, a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed-oriented, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performance team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing scope, schedule, and budget for large-sized investigation/remediation projects
- Completing various remedial designs
- Building strong client relationships
- Client and regulatory correspondence
- Technical report writing and review
- Analyzing and applying solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex issues
- Health and safety stewardship, including field visits
- Preparing cost estimates and proposals
- Working effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Coordinating work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractors
- Ensuring quality control of tasks
- Mentoring junior staff
- Regional travel for field visits
- Supervising up to 10 staff
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of direct project management experience on remediation projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience as environmental remediation engineer
- 4+ years project management experience
- PE license
- Experience with environmental regulatory agencies
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training
