Job Details
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Federal environmental investigation and remediation projects. The candidate may work remotely or from the Atlanta, GA office.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and directs professional and technical staff.
- Experience with CERCLA projects and federal facilities.
- Managing RI/FS, Remedial Design, Five Year Reviews.
- Client interaction on technical/cost/schedule topics.
- Project invoicing and cash flow management.
- Project scheduling.
- Budget tracking.
- Data analysis and compliance.
- Work plan preparation.
- Supervises junior and mid-level staff.
- Occasional overnight travel required.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Preferred: 5+ years as a project manager, Professional License (PE, PG), Master’s degree, Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations, Federal project experience (USACE, Air Force, Navy, EPA).
- Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA processes.
- Team management and scheduling skills.
- Communication, writing, and reporting skills.
- Proposal and cost estimate preparation skills.
- Experience leading Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies.
