Full-Time Events Manager (REMOTE)

We’re seeking a dynamic Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and logistics for major events. You’ll transform ideas into memorable experiences and manage complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Strategy & Leadership: Lead the full lifecycle of hybrid events, collaborate across departments, and manage detailed timelines.
• Program & Speaker Management: Manage speaker relations and oversee the Cvent Abstract Management System.
• Vendor, Venue, and Contract Management: Develop RFPs, negotiate contracts, coordinate site visits, and review invoices.
• Pre-Conference Logistics: Create agendas, coordinate website content, and ensure flawless online registration.
• Logistics & On-Site Coordination: Manage logistical elements, oversee staff training, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Budget, Data, and Reporting: Track budgets, manage payment collection, maintain the AMS Event Dashboard, and provide performance reports.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Research event industry trends and integrate risk management into event preparation.
• Customer Experience & Representation: Represent AMS with enthusiasm and provide excellent service.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale conferences or hybrid events.
• Expertise in event logistics, budgeting, contracts, and on-site management.
• Strong attention to detail and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Cvent or comparable platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• A proactive, self-starting attitude.
