Executive Protection and Travel Security Program Manager
We seek an experienced, proactive Executive Protection and Travel Security individual to coordinate and support global executive protection (EP) operations.
This role requires a strategic thinker with operational experience in protective services, travel risk management, vendor coordination, and high-level administrative support.
Collaborate with EP teams, executive assistants, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of EP movements, event security, travel safety, and overall protection logistics for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Protection Operations:
- Coordinate and support EP movements (travel & events)
- Conduct/oversee complex risk assessments (domestic & international)
- Provide strategic input & tactical oversight for deployments, crisis response, and contingency planning
- Interface with executive assistants, regional security leads, and external agencies
- Develop and manage EP protocols, ensuring safety & confidentiality
Logistics and Administrative Management:
- Manage scheduling for EP activities, team deployments, briefings, and advance work
- Manage documentation and internal calendars
- Monitor tasks & deliverables across the EP team and coordinate follow-ups
- Manage purchase orders, invoicing, and budget tracking
- Provide updates to the Vice President of Crisis, Security, and Safety and handle ad-hoc tasks
Travel Security:
- Coordinate emergency protocols with regional security leads
- Monitor international developments affecting executive travel
- Build & maintain a network of in-country resources and response vendors
- Manage global travel security policy and training programs
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Liaison with contracted EP providers
- Manage vendor performance, negotiate agreements, and ensure SLA adherence
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, HR, communications)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration)
- 5+ years of experience in executive protection, corporate security, or travel risk management
- 2-4 years supporting security or EP teams
- Valid U.S. passport and driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to travel (domestic & international)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with law enforcement, military service
- Supervising/coordinating EP teams or large-scale operations
- Familiarity with travel tracking software, security risk intelligence platforms, and communications tools
- Investigative/analytical experience in high-risk environments
- International work experience/foreign language proficiency
Compensation: $64,000 - $95,000 (base) + Sales-based/performance-based bonus possible.
