Full-Time Experienced System Administrator OTC

Open Telekom Cloud is a public cloud based on open-source software, utilizing DevSecOps principles. We prioritize customer focus and agile methods in a dynamic environment.

Our goal is to provide a secure, stable, and innovative platform, collaborating with partners in the OpenStack ecosystem to meet European security and data protection standards.

Job Summary: Experienced System Administrator will contribute to developing and enhancing the Open Telekom Cloud platform.

Responsibilities:

• Solve complex cloud backend issues.
• Perform hardware-oriented tasks (hands-on work).
• Develop and manage monitoring and quality assurance systems.
• Automate tasks using standard automation frameworks.
• Collaborate effectively in a specialist team.

Requirements:

• Completed technical, engineering, or scientific studies or equivalent professional training.
• 2-5 years of IT experience, focusing on modern cloud technologies.
• Expertise in Configuration Management, Incident Management, and Change Management.
• Knowledge of Information Security, Security & Privacy Assessment (preferred).
• Knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
• Infrastructure automation experience.
• Strong Linux and network services skills.
• High customer focus and ability to drive new feature deployments and solve problems for increased customer satisfaction.
• Agile development process knowledge.
• Ability to assess and develop creative technical solutions.
• OpenStack and open-source project programming experience (preferred).
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
