Job Details
Arista Networks is seeking experienced system software engineers to join our EOS software development team. As a key member, you'll build features for large data center networks.
Responsibilities:
- Write functional and design specifications for drivers and APIs.
- Implement solutions in C, C++, and Python.
- Write and implement automated test programs.
- Debug and fix problems.
- Analyze customer issues and provide fixes.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Review specifications and implementations.
What You’ll Do:
This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals and understanding of Linux system software and networking.
Requirements:
- BS + 12 years, MS + 10 years, or Ph.D. + 7 years experience.
- Knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with open source software.
- Experience writing Linux drivers and APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
