AECOM is seeking a Project Manager focused on leading Federal projects. Positions are available in Southern California offices (Los Angeles, CA; Orange, CA; San Diego, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Murray, UT or Albuquerque, NM).
About Buildings + Places: Our practice includes architecture, interiors, engineering, urbanism, strategy, economics, technology, asset advisory, and cost/program management. We assist clients from strategy to project realization.
Job Summary/Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute interdisciplinary projects within the Federal market sector.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget (conceptual studies to construction).
- Lead projects from proposal to client handover.
- Manage client relationships and all stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal and external project teams.
- Communicate effectively (written, verbal, presentations).
- Provide project updates to senior management.
- Participate in project pursuits (Scope of Work, team, fee production).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years relevant experience
- Architectural Licensure or Professional Engineer
- U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years project leadership/management
- PMP Certification
- Strong understanding of design methodology
- Proficiency in conveying complex information
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in REVIT, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite
