In this role, you will be responsible for: managing financial processes, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with healthcare finance, Medi-Cal claims, and nonprofit financial guidelines.
You will work closely with case managers and program directors to provide strategic financial insights and drive operational efficiency.
This is a virtual position ideal for a results-driven professional with strong leadership and analytical skills.
Essential Job Functions:
- Financial Operations Management: Oversee daily finance, accounting, and billing functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare and manage budgets, generate comprehensive financial reports, and analyze financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
- Compliance & Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to healthcare finance standards, Medi-Cal claim requirements, and nonprofit financial regulations while continuously identifying areas for process optimization.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance and fostering professional development in a remote work environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with case managers, program directors, and other stakeholders to align financial strategies with organizational goals and improve overall operational effectiveness.
- Tool Expertise: Utilize QuickBooks, financial reporting software, and budgeting tools to streamline processes and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Preferred experience in healthcare finance, Medi-Cal claims, and nonprofit finance.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills, with a proven ability to drive operational improvements.
- Expertise in QuickBooks, financial reporting, and budgeting tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
