Full-Time Finance Transformation Director

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Director to join our finance team at Veolia Belux. This key leadership role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of financial information, serving as a liaison between operations and finance, improving processes, and preparing for the transition from SAP to WorkDay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transformation Management
• Analyze and improve processes to optimize the Finance Function.
• Prepare for migration to a new ERP system.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage an operational budget of approximately €10 million.
• Ensure compliance with Group financial reporting deadlines.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits.

People Management

• Lead and coordinate department activities.
• Manage talent development and operational aspects of the team.
• Promote collaboration within the department and with other functions.
• Ensure application of Veolia's mission, vision, and values.

Business Controlling

• Support the business controlling by proposing solutions in the organisation and in the tools to improve the efficiency of the department.
• Acts as a link between finance and the various departments (ops, DTI) that work on performance in order to provide them with useful tools and indicators.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Finance or Business Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in finance and transformation
• Fluency in French, Dutch, and English
• In-depth knowledge of financial concepts, IFRS standards, and ERP systems
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in process improvement and system implementations
