Mercor is seeking a Finance Tutor to train AI systems. This role involves expert financial analysis, annotation, and evaluation to improve AI model understanding in areas like investment analysis, equities, and accounting.

- Apply financial reasoning to improve model performance in valuation and portfolio construction.
- Collaborate with technical teams to optimize annotation workflows.
- Engage in data collection through text, audio, or video.
- Interpret and execute task instructions with precision.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Background as an investment analyst or financial consultant.
- Familiarity with financial databases like Bloomberg and Reuters.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interest in AI technology within finance.
- CFA Charterholder or CPA certification.
- Teaching experience in finance.
- Corporate accounting or risk management experience.
- Remote or in-person (Palo Alto, CA).
- Initial training required.
- $45–100 per hour, depending on experience.
