Full-Time FinOps Practitioner

• Examine, analyse, prioritise cloud cost optimisation recommendations and calculate potential savings using FinOps tools.
• Implement rate and usage optimisations within public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Guide customers in making cost-effective architectural decisions.
• Communicate FinOps principles to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with managed services teams to design and implement cost optimisations and best practices.
• Build and manage a backlog on cost-saving initiatives.
• Architect and develop automation runbooks to drive cloud cost efficiencies and Policy as Code initiatives.

• Hands-on experience implementing FinOps to optimise cloud costs.
• Strong understanding of the FinOps Framework, capabilities, lifecycle, and domains.
• Hands-on experience with native and 3rd party public cloud cost management tools like IBM Cloudability and KubeCost.
• ServiceNow experience as a Cloud Management Platform.
• Strong DevOps skills, including Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, and RedHat Ansible.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships.
• Strong numerical and finance skills to investigate data and spot trends.
• Certifications such as FinOps Practitioner or FinOps Professional.
