At ResiQuant, we empower insurers, financial institutions, and asset managers with AI systems trained on structural engineering to fill in gaps and provide engineering-relevant building characteristics.
Founding Lead AI Engineer Role: You'll work closely with founders to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI models harnessing computer vision and vision-language capabilities to analyze building data through a domain expert lens. You will lead and mentor a team of engineers, driving innovations in AI, optimizing model performance, and delivering robust, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive development and deployment of cutting-edge computer vision and vision-language models.
- Lead a team of engineers, fostering innovation and high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated on vision and vision-language models, identifying and integrating new techniques.
- Ensure models are efficient, scalable, and optimized for diverse applications.
- Collaborate with founders, product managers, data scientists, and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or related field specializing in computer vision, NLP, or machine learning.
- Minimum 4 years experience in computer vision and vision-language models.
- Experience leading engineering teams and delivering successful AI projects.
- Expertise in designing and implementing machine learning architectures using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch.
Technical Skills:
- Strong computer vision algorithms knowledge.
- Proficient in Python and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with image processing, NLP libraries, and LLMs.
