About ResiQuant: Rapid urbanization and climate change escalate disaster risks. Building inventories are unstandardized, preventing decision-making. ResiQuant empowers insurers, financial institutions, and asset managers with AI systems trained on structural engineering to fill gaps and provide engineering-relevant building characteristics.
Founding Lead AI Engineer: You will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI models harnessing computer vision and vision-language capabilities to analyze building data.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Drive development and deployment of computer vision and vision-language models.
- Team Management: Lead a team of engineers, fostering innovation and high-quality deliverables.
- R&D and Innovation: Stay updated on vision and vision-language models, integrating new techniques.
- Model Optimization: Ensure models are efficient, scalable, and optimized.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with founders, product managers, data scientists, and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or related field with specialization.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in computer vision and vision-language models.
- Experience leading engineer teams with successful AI projects.
- Expertise designing and implementing machine learning architectures using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer vision, vision-language integration, and multimodal AI models.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with image processing libraries, NLP libraries, and LLMs.
