Contractor Freelance PR Account Manager, B2B Tech

Position OverviewTrust Relations is seeking an Account Executive to join our dynamic team! You will be working remotely as a 1099 contractor and possess experience in executing innovative publicity campaigns within the B2B technology sector. Your passion and enthusiasm for our industry are essential.

Account Responsibilities may include content strategy, creation, distribution, data-driven reporting & analysis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with entry-level experience who desires to grow their career and assume more responsibility within a PR/marketing role.

You will be a master of execution, consistently delivering high-quality results for diverse clients.

• Interact with client contacts via email and calls as needed.
• Successfully manage multiple client responsibilities.
• Demonstrate consistent performance across various accounts, adapting to fluctuating workloads.
• Learn quickly, avoid repeating errors, and inspire confidence in senior team members.

Duties include:

• Producing results across multiple B2B/tech accounts through our core media relations services.
• Actively participating and contributing to client calls.
• Providing ongoing counsel to clients, including during positive and challenging situations.
• Developing and nurturing strong client relationships.
• Ensuring the highest quality and strategic value in all client deliverables.
• Communicating effectively (verbally and in writing) regarding strategic client documents and discussions.
• Addressing client requests promptly and efficiently.
• Assisting with writing press releases, pitch letters, and communication plans.
• Executing all aspects of strategic media relations, utilizing existing relationships with reporters and outlets to benefit clients.
• Developing new media relationships through proactive engagement.
• Securing and staffing interviews, developing timely and relevant pitches.
• Mentoring junior team members (as needed).
• Completing ongoing and ad-hoc projects.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years' PR experience.
• B.S./B.A. in PR, Marketing, Business Communications, or related field (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Strong understanding of B2B/tech marketing.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Creative thinking and writing ability.
• Experience working with teams across multiple locations.
• Team player and a positive contributor.
