DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for freelance transcribers with idiomatic fluency in English (United States). This is a remote opportunity for an innovative transcription project in the aviation field.
Role Summary: As a Transcriber, you will transcribe audio files adhering to strict formatting guidelines.
Role Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio files (a few minutes to 25 minutes in length).
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
- Edit pre-segmented speech to identify speaker turns.
- Identify and label speakers.
- Maintain idiomatic fluency in English (US).
- Show interest or knowledge in the aviation field.
- Follow project-specific guidelines and instructions.
- Have strong time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrate good typing speed.
- Possess the ability to work independently.
Preferred Weekly Availability: 20-40 hours.
Requirements:
- Excellent listening and typing skills
- Previous transcription experience (preferred)
- Ability to follow project guidelines
- Knowledge or interest in aviation
