Full-Time Front-End Software Engineer

At iKhokha, we’re looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to build high-impact user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Be a part of building and maintaining technologies within the FinTech space.
• Work in an Agile environment.
• Develop user-facing features using React.js, HTML5, and CSS.
• Front-end development of FinTech systems.
• Work with Back-End Engineers for seamless integration.
• Ensure code standards and sufficient Code coverage.
• Create, maintain, and review documentation.
• Mentor other engineers.
• Communicate effectively with team and stakeholders.
• Share knowledge with the engineering team.

Advantageous:

• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Deal Breakers:

• 2-4 years’ experience with React.js, Next.js HTML5, and CSS.
• Agile environment experience (Scrum or Kanban).
• Version Control experience (GitHub).
• Development Environments experience.
• Experience with Technical Leadership, Code Quality, Standards, and Security.
• Experience with documentation.

Bonus:

• TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js
• Code Reviews
• Rest API or GraphQL API Integration
• CMS API Integration (Sanity, Magento, or similar)
• VSCode / IntelliJ
