Full-Time Fullstack Tech Lead - Trust & Safety

• Pilot the technical roadmap of Trust & Safety tools: content detection, workflow automation, moderation, dashboards, alerting.
• Design and build backend systems using a microservices architecture.
• Design and build API-centric systems using REST, GraphQL, and OpenAPI standards.
• Design and build queueing and event-driven systems.
• Participate in legacy system modernization and incremental migration strategies.
• Conceive pragmatic solutions with a strong impact, optimizing resources and prioritizing according to business value.
• Leverage AI to improve automated detection of problematic content, streamline internal processes via automation, and accelerate development.
• Ensure the quality, security, and maintainability of deployed tools.
• Manage a team of 3 front-end and back-end developers.

• Significant experience as a Tech Lead, ideally in a high-traffic tech environment (social media, video platform).
• Solid back-end culture, with a good understanding of front-end and internal UX issues.
• Comfortable using generative AI tools in the development cycle (detection, automation, code assistance).
• Pragmatic, impact-oriented and solutions-oriented mindset, capable of arbitrating between speed, efficiency and scalability.
• Appetite for Trust & Safety issues (moderation, ethics, compliance, automation).
• Professional French and English.

• APIs: GraphQL, aioHTTP, OpenAPI, FastAPI
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
• Security & Config: Vault
• Observability: Datadog, distributed tracing tools

• Strong Javascript, Python and PHP programming skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins etc.) and Docker.
• Strong mastery of code quality and knowledge of TDD.
• Excellent code review skills.
• Knowledge and experience of microservices architecture.
• Understanding of API design patterns and RESTful services.
