Job Details
- Configure GCP for complex data migration from AWS.
- Lead data movement activities through all stages of a data solution lifecycle.
- Analyze data and create conceptual, logical & physical data model designs.
- Architect and design ETL, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Lead source to target mapping, define interface process and standards.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alert mechanisms for data issues.
- Collaborate with workstream leads.
- Identify risks and opportunities of potential logic and data issues.
- Guide and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure day-to-day deliverables are met.
- Design and implement GCP solutions meeting client requirements.
- Develop architecture recommendations based on GCP best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support.
- Conduct technical reviews.
- Maintain documentation related to GCP solutions.
Experience:
- GCP services: Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataflow.
- Infrastructure as code tools: Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
- CI/CD pipelines and automation tools: Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- 5+ years designing and implementing GCP solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong knowledge of GCP architecture and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- GCP certification is a plus.
