Full-Time Geohazard Product Manager

Irth Solutions is seeking a passionate Geohazard Product Manager to drive the future of Irth Geohazard Management capabilities across geospatial, business intelligence, and integrity management platforms.

This role involves owning and monitoring the entire product development process, from beginning to end, working closely with diverse teams within the company, and delivering timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Defining, managing, and delivering on the Geohazard vision and strategy.
2. Translating product strategy into a detailed roadmap of requirements, features, and user stories.
3. Engaging the market as a product evangelist and owner to build awareness and understanding.
4. Gaining deep understanding of industry and customer integrity, geohazard, risk, and related teams and processes.
5. Defining and creating buy-in for the product vision internally and with key external customers.
6. Partnering with customers and owning the Geohazard Private Preview process (customer pilots, demonstrations, onboarding, etc.) to collect feedback, influence product, and kickstart go-to-market efforts.
7. Representing the company by engaging customers and industry events to solicit feedback on company products and services.
8. Researching, documenting, and conducting gap analysis on the competitive landscape.
9. Improving customer experience, driving growth, and increasing market share by filling product gaps identified through competitive and customer experience analysis.
10. Developing and documenting the full product lifecycle of go-to-market for the Geohazard roadmap and vision (assets, wikis, papers, etc.).
11. Leading product launches by collaborating with relevant teams.
12. Developing product pricing and positioning strategies.
13. Scoping and prioritizing activities according to customer and business impact.
14. Collaborating with development and data science teams to deliver with a quick time-to-market cadence.
15. Driving revenue by working with sales and related teams.

Requirements and Skills:

• Oil and Gas Pipeline Software & Geohazard management experience.
• Understanding of inline inspections (ILI) and the integrity process.
• Understanding of the damage prevention process.
• Working knowledge of US (ASME B31, PHMSA 49 CFR 192 and 195) and Canadian (CSA Z662:23) regulations and industry standards.
• Geohazard and/or Geotechnical experience managing pipeline infrastructure and executing best practice geohazard risk mitigation programs.
• Proven consolidation and integration of geospatial data in integrity programs.
• Geohazard community reputation (preferred).
• Real-world experience identifying pipeline system geohazard threats for risk-informed decision-making.
• Proven product management experience (3+ years).
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle (preferred).
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in agile software development (Microsoft DevOps preferred) and web technologies (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional, remote teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
• Project Manager or Scrum Master certification (an asset).
• Experience with the Microsoft tech stack (Teams, DevOps, etc.) (preferred).
