Primary Responsibilities As part of the Global Marketing team, drive strategic marketing initiatives enhancing brand positioning, lead generation, and business growth within the Pharma industry. Develop and execute high-impact marketing campaigns, craft compelling content, and manage multichannel promotional strategies to strengthen SGS’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in developing the overall global strategy for the business unit, including a framework for key markets, specific services, and financial targets.
- Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy in collaboration with the VP of Pharma and cross-functional teams.
- Manage and optimize the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Lead the development of digital and print campaigns to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Define go-to-market strategies for new services, product launches, or geographic expansions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and maintain high-quality marketing assets (fact sheets, brochures, white papers, articles, presentations).
- Develop compelling and consistent messaging for web, email, webinars, and social media.
- Execute and analyze organic and paid marketing campaigns, including PPC, account-based marketing, and lead generation initiatives.
- Design and oversee the production of marketing collateral (digital banners, ads, event materials), collaborating with agencies as needed.
- Oversee social media and email marketing strategies to optimize engagement and visibility.
- Ensure all marketing activities align with SGS branding, digital guidelines, and compliance regulations (GDPR, industry standards, etc.).
- Plan and coordinate industry event participation (trade shows, webinars).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (industry associations, media partners).
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, optimizing strategies based on insights.
- Track market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic adjustments.
Profile & Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and campaign execution.
- Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, and visual marketing.
- Hands-on expertise in social media marketing (LinkedIn) and email automation.
- Solid understanding of the Pharma and Biopharma industries.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality content delivery.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in marketing automation (Eloqua, Salesforce) and design tools (Canva or equivalent).
- Event management experience, including logistics and promotional execution.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (additional languages a plus).
- Data-driven mindset, experience analyzing KPIs and optimizing performance.
- Comfortable working in a global, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred location is Europe.
- This position requires minimal global travel (1-2 times a year).
