Full-Time Global Program Lead - Digital Building

Role Description The role of the Global Program Lead is critical to the success of the FPC Digital Building Services business line, providing program leadership to support the delivery of technical related consultancy and systems engineering in the field of Digital Buildings, applications, process, standards for FPC and our clients. The Program Lead represents FPC in delivering services to our clients and when working with industry partners and suppliers, so will maintain the highest standards of technical and professional performance, and conduct themself with honesty and integrity at all times. In addition to being a client-facing role and key responsibilities, the Lead Consultant is expected to be an active member of the Program Management team, to make a positive contribution to the development of the team and wider FPC business, working effectively with all FPC colleagues to successfully deliver projects and support FPC’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Program and Project Management: Manage the delivery of programs and projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and client satisfaction, coordinating with stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors), utilizing appropriate project delivery methods, preparing clear reports, managing risks/issues, ensuring change management, and looking after client best interests. Undertaking lessons learned and implementing changes to processes, documentation, and communication.
2. Team Management: Lead a team of Digital Building consultants and Technical project managers, providing guidance, mentoring, and facilitating teamwork and collaboration.
3. Client Management: Work closely with clients to understand requirements, provide solutions, build strong relationships, ensuring exceptional service and exceeding expectations. Represent FPC professionally, internally and externally, achieving high customer satisfaction.
4. Services and Solutions Delivery: Oversee the team providing consultancy services related to Digital Building Solutions (BIM, BAS, Sustainability, Building Operational Performance Evaluation / Optimisation and Smart Building Solutions). Support the team to provide expertise and ensure clients receive the best advice and solutions.
5. Commercial Management: Manage the project or program budget, raise invoices, ensure delivery within the agreed scope of works and costs, look at reducing costs, and provide value-add solutions. Develop proposals for future work and promote FPC.
6. Industry Expertise: Provide strategic technical and industry expertise to develop the Digital Building Services business line, maintaining expertise of industry trends, developments, and initiatives.
7. FPC Responsibilities: Identify, develop, deliver, and support opportunities for continuous improvement, act in accordance with FPC policies, including the Employee Handbook, Health & Safety, and Time & Expenses Reporting. Carry out other duties as reasonably requested.

The program Lead should possess experience and qualifications in the following: Minimum 5 years leading complex global programs. Proven track record in Digital Buildings/IoT roles. Strong project management skills with experience managing complex projects. PMI and/or APM accreditation. Excellent team management skills. Strong client management skills. Project proposal development, estimating, and presentation. Strong business development skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong knowledge of Digital Buildings Systems Integration. Experience working as part of a team to develop coordinated designs. Competent using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office software.

Desirable Experience: Experience with cloud platforms (Google, Microsoft, Amazon), data analytics, AutoCAD, BIM, Visio, RIBA stages of work, construction projects, contracting systems, testing & commissioning, FDD, and automated commissioning systems.

Location/Region This position is based out of our London office. The role requires working either at client premises, from home or at FPC premises. It may also require some domestic or international travel.

Key Performance Indicators KPI’s will be discussed and developed in detail with your Line Manager.
