Full-Time Global Solution Architecture Manager

At Weights & Biases, we build AI developer tools. We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced SA/SRE Manager to lead customer-managed deployments, improve on-premise deployments, streamline upgrades, and build scalable systems/processes through automation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead/manage a team of SA engineers supporting customer-managed/on-premise deployments.
• Design/implement/enhance deployment architectures for reliability, scalability, and security.
• Develop/optimize upgrade processes to minimize downtime.
• Build/maintain automation frameworks for deployment, monitoring, & incident management.
• Collaborate with product/engineering teams to enhance software deliverability/maintainability for on-premise environments.
• Establish best practices for configuration management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead incident response/root cause analysis for production issues, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Drive a culture of operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 7+ years SRE/DevOps/Solutions Architecture experience, 2+ years in management/leadership.
• Strong experience managing on-premise and customer-managed deployments at scale.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud/on-prem hybrid architectures.
• Expertise in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Go, Bash).
• Experience with security and compliance in enterprise software deployments.
• Excellent communication/stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in SaaS/enterprise environments preferred.
