Full-Time Global Technical Client Project Manager

As a core member of the Global Commercial Operations team, the Global Technical Client Project Manager acts as a bridge between global and regional sales teams, and our laboratory teams worldwide. You will:

• Act as liaison between our strategic clients and our global laboratory network.
• Prepare and execute project plans for the contracted services, in close partnership with global and regional sales teams.
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Act as project manager for specifically assigned global client testing programs.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Management & Communication
   • Support clients on scientific and technical questions.
   • Identify appropriate locations and confirm capacity.
   • Ensure clients understand SGS technical approach.
   • Maintain best communication between clients and SGS Pharma laboratories.
   • Address concerns from clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
2. Project Management & Coordination
   • Prepare project plans and manage client projects (multi-site, multi-region).
   • Participate in project kick-offs (voice of the customer).
   • Act as Project Manager/Technical Liaison for assigned programs.
   • Escalate capacity/capability issues to management.
3. Business Development Support
   • Identify new business opportunities during client interactions.
   • Provide insights to Business Development Teams.
   • Stay updated on industry technical and regulatory developments.
   • Feedback strategic insights.
4. Governance & Compliance Oversight
   • Obtain necessary client information for accurate RFI/RFP/Work Orders.
   • Monitor and communicate regulatory issues to clients and laboratories.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or related scientific field.
• 5-10 years' experience as a Scientist or PhD holder with 3-5 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Minimum 3 years' customer-facing experience.
• Experience in Pharma CMC analytical testing, global project management (Study Director, Senior Scientist, or Client Technical Manager).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to convey scientific explanations clearly.
• Ability to collaborate across decentralized teams.
• Full compliance with SGS Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct.
