Home-Based Role: Requires travel throughout the UK to client sites.
Target Customers: Government, Health, Housing, and Digital Customers.
Project Scope: Systems implementation and consultancy in Housing, Public Protection, Revenues and Benefits, Document Management, Health, or specific Central Government projects (e.g., Blue Badge, HGV Charging).
Project Sizes: From small engagements to large projects.
Responsibilities (NEC):
- Manage multiple projects across diverse clients.
- Support pre-sales activities (e.g., ITT responses, presentations, sales discussions).
- Ensure commercial proposals are sound based on previous experience and knowledge.
- Lead implementation teams (consultants, product specialists).
- Plan and organize projects using Prince2 principles.
- Monitor project progress and billing, acting as client point of contact.
- Forecast revenue and billings.
- Update internal stakeholders on progress and performance.
- Maintain client visibility and participation in project board meetings.
Essential Skills:
- Significant Project Management Experience.
- Public Sector Project Management Experience.
- Prince2 Qualification or Experience.
- Leading and Motivating Teams.
- Commercial Acumen.
- Software Implementation Experience.
- Willingness to travel throughout UK and overseas.
Desirable Skills:
- Local Government, Housing, or Health Supplier Experience.
- Prince2 Qualification.
- Experience with NEC Products.
