Full-Time Group Copy Supervisor

Group Copy Supervisor (GCS) is a key contributor to the creative and strategic teams, fully responsible for the concept and copy development across various projects. The GCS possesses strong multitasking and delegation skills to efficiently manage projects of varying complexity while actively participating in project development.

The GCS acts as a direct liaison between creative and senior account teams, consistently producing work that meets strategic, business, and creative expectations. Advanced presentation skills are essential for client brainstorming and new business pitches.

Furthermore, the GCS mentors and supports the copy team, providing guidance for career growth and development. Proactive monitoring of project progress and offering direction, input, and feedback to direct reports, and coordinating freelance writer assignments are also key responsibilities.

The GCS also assesses daily copywriting needs, alerting the supervisor to coverage gaps and supporting other teams as needed. Proven experience supervising market access content for brands (branded and unbranded topics) is crucial, including expertise in managed markets (e.g., PIE presentations, value proposition messaging and presentations, formulary kits).

This role needs expertise in extracting relevant information from clinical sources and crafting medically accurate copy, while adhering to AMA style and FDA/OPDP regulations. Experience with complex projects involving internal and external teams, coupled with client-facing confidence to advance dialogue, sell strategic ideas, and cultivate strong agency-client relationships, is expected.
