Job Details

The Group Copy Supervisor plays a fundamental role in content development, partnering with internal teams and clients to execute innovative healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing initiatives for HCP and patient audiences.

This role requires understanding client challenges and industry trends, demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic areas and assigned products, support for strategic and creative deliverables, and meticulous attention to medical accuracy.

Job Duties

  1. Partner with internal teams to transform complex data into engaging copy for various audiences (HCPs, patients/caregivers, internal clients).
  2. Develop original content for digital and print deliverables (brochures, emails, social media, advertisements, videos, websites, visuals).
  3. Collaborate with creative leads to define creative vision, refine graphics, and layouts.
  4. Engage with clients to understand their brands, key messages, and creative vision, generating innovative ideas aligning with marketing strategies.
  5. Demonstrate strong understanding of therapeutic areas, target audiences, and assigned product strategies, with flexibility to support various therapeutic teams.
  6. Maintain high quality and accuracy through thorough referencing and annotation of all materials.
  7. Incorporate feedback on manuscripts and layouts, while preserving the integrity and purpose of the material.
  8. Contribute to style guide and core claims document maintenance.
  9. Present work with rationale during internal and client content/creative reviews/meetings.
  10. Collaborate with project management to develop and adhere to project timelines.
  11. Adhere to internal and client processes for workflow, deliverables, and industry best practices.
  12. Maintain a proactive approach to initiatives for existing and prospective clients.
  13. Attend client and partner meetings, including promotional review committee meetings.
  14. Collaborate with internal and external personnel to produce high-quality work within established timelines.
  15. Contribute to team success, adhering to company goals and values.
  16. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues, clients, and agency partners.
  17. Maintain professional conduct and foster positive working relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of pharmaceutical agency copywriting experience
  • Experience writing for HCP and consumer audiences
  • Solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience working on diverse accounts and therapeutic areas.
  • Experience using content management systems (e.g., Veeva, Ziflow).

Working Conditions

  • Extra hours/nontraditional hours as needed.
