The Group Internal Control Manager will lead the internal control function, ensuring compliance with policies and implementing controls to mitigate risks. They will oversee internal control activities, provide recommendations, and enhance the organization's risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal Control & Compliance Management: Develop and implement an annual risk-based Internal Control Plan, conduct assessments, evaluate control effectiveness, and facilitate training.
- Risk Assessment & Business Process Optimization: Examine internal control systems, identify risks, ensure audit alignment, develop process flowcharts, and support risk awareness.
- Leadership & Team Management: Provide guidance, oversee operations, advise senior management, approve payments, and support cross-functional collaboration.
- HU Legal Entity Compliance: Establish controls, enforce policies, conduct audits, and implement quality controls.
- Group-Level Internal Control & Compliance: Design and implement controls over financial reporting, conduct reviews, coordinate with financial reporting teams, and deliver training.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Work Experience: 5+ years in internal control management, shared services, or related field.
- Technical & IT Knowledge: Strong project management skills, understanding of internal controls, financial processes, and systems.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English. German preferred.
