Full-Time Head of Bids

Masabi is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Bids to lead the creation and management of proposals for transit agencies and operators worldwide.

You will lead the bid process from initiation to submission, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.

Support the business development cycle, from initial identification of opportunities through submission and post-tender activities.

Implement and maintain a rigorous project management approach to bid management.

Oversee resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization of team skills.

Develop and enforce methodologies and processes for consistent and efficient bids, providing clear guidance on bid/no-bid decisions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical, commercial, and legal components into bids.

Drive continuous improvement in bid management practices.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Manage, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence.

Innovate and push boundaries to win market opportunities, leveraging AI tools and other creative strategies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience leading bid management teams.
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Results-driven approach.
• Success in managing and winning high-value bids.
• Strong understanding of the sales and procurement process (prior experience with public procurement for technology-based solutions is highly desirable).
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinking and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
