Strategic Growth Initiatives. Develop and execute an inorganic growth strategy considering acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures aligning with organisational strategy.
Geographic Growth. Collaborate with Head of Strategic Marketing, Partner Channel, and other stakeholders to develop and deploy the Insights geographic expansion plan.
Corporate Finance. Manage existing and develop new corporate finance engagements, including managing the current investment portfolio.
Market Analysis and Opportunity Assessment. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for corporate expansion.
Deal Structuring and Negotiation. Lead negotiations and structure deals, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with organisational strategy.
Integration Management. Oversee post-deal integration processes to maximize value realisation.
Stakeholder Management. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, board members, potential partners, and investors.
Team Leadership. As corporate development requirements grow, hire, develop, and mentor a team focused on alliances and inorganic growth.
Key Responsibilities. Shape Insights Learning and Development’s growth strategy, extend reach in the learning and development market, and demonstrate expertise in practice and/or industry, especially in corporate development or corporate finance.
Analytical Skills. Identify and leverage industry trends to align with inorganic growth strategy.
Deal Lifecycle Management. Manage deals through their entire lifecycle with minimal support.
Executive and Board Level Influence. Influence and guide strategic decision-making at the Executive and Board level.
Industry Networking. Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts.
Qualifications. Optional: CA or ACCA.
Required Attributes. Strong strategic mindset, analytics, innovation, commercial acumen, deep understanding of company, market, and competitors to craft strategies supporting business goals.
