We're seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of Data Science to define and scale the data function. You'll set strategy, build a world-class team, and embed data into every decision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing data science team.
• Drive impactful data science projects, from analysis to modeling.
• Create and evangelize best practices for data reliability.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term data strategy.
• Own and scale the Data Science function across product, growth, and GTM.
• Hire, lead, and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts.
• Define and communicate Render's long-term data strategy and architecture.
• Drive strategic insights across the organization.
• Promote data fluency across teams.
• Provide actionable insights about user behavior.
• Enhance data infrastructure and processes.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in data science, with 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong foundation in statistics, causal inference, and modeling.
• Fluency in SQL and Python; experience with modern data stacks.
• Track record of influencing executive decisions.
• Proven ability to scale data functions in fast-paced environments.

Bonus: B2B SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or growth analytics experience.
