P2P.org is the largest staking and restaking operator, with a TVL of over $8B. We're constantly launching new yield products, like in Polkadot (+15-20% APR) and Ethereum (+40% APR). We also explore new networks (TON, Avail, Monad, Babylon). We have a dedicated team focused on Bitcoin DeFi yield solutions. We work with partners like BitGo, Crypto.com, Ledger, and ByBit. We are expanding into RWA, data, yield, and service products for exchanges, custodians, and banks. We prioritize customer satisfaction and develop innovative solutions.
The Head of Engineering for Staking and Blockchain Software Services will lead software development for a secure, high-performance, scalable staking platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement a technology-first strategy for business advantage and multi-year scalability.
- Oversee design, development, and implementation of staking and blockchain products, ensuring quality, scalability, and security.
- Ensure API services are reliable, resilient, and handle high throughput, with robust security measures.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- End-to-end hiring, performance management, and competency growth of engineering teams.
- Partner closely with product managers to align technology and product needs.
- Establish robust monitoring, alerting, incident management, and continuous platform reliability improvement.
- Oversee engineering processes, manage the technological stack, and drive adoption of new engineering practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, security) on project goals.
- Oversee engineering budget, balancing costs with performance.
- Engage with the broader blockchain community, particularly key protocols (e.g., Ethereum). Build and maintain relationships with leading blockchain protocols. Represent p2p.org at industry events.
- Collaborate with industry partners on joint initiatives.
Requirements:
- 10+ years hands-on technical leadership experience.
- 5+ years experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams.
- Experience designing, building, and scaling API servers.
- Exceptional technical experience in designing scalable, high-load, secure, and highly-available software.
- Proven senior management of technical leads and individual contributors.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud infrastructure (e.g., OCI, Google Cloud, AWS, Bare-metal).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in blockchain technology, especially staking.
- Deep understanding of blockchain protocols.
- Knowledge of blockchain security.
- Experience with smart contract development and auditing.
