Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product roadmap, aligning with commercial goals.
• Make end-to-end architecture decisions (build vs. buy), ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Lead multiple cross-functional engineering squads via an OKR-driven agile process.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team. Focus on innovation, code quality, and continuous learning.
• Implement robust reliability practices for 99.9%+ uptime.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, ML, and Data Science teams for AI innovation.
• Support IP creation and R&D, managing prototyping and patent filings.
• Partner with Product Marketing, UI/UX Design, and Business Development to translate customer insights into features.
• Manage cloud spend, vendor contracts, and partnerships for optimal ROI.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (SOC 2, GDPR).

Qualifications:

• 12+ years building SaaS or platform products, 5+ years in a senior engineering leadership role.
• Full-stack technical expertise (TypeScript/React, Node/Python, databases).
• Experience in cloud and edge architectures (mobile, drone capture, data streaming, GPU/TPU).
• Proven experience shipping AI/ML products.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, translating between various roles.
• International team and partnership experience.
