Full-Time Healthcare Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist, work with client services and product delivery teams to build data solutions for healthcare performance measurement and analytic web applications. These applications help clients optimize hospital and specialty care quality and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and analyze large datasets (clinical registries, administrative data, billing claims, insurance data).
• Develop clear analytic plans.
• Create efficient, reusable code for data manipulation and analysis (SQL, Python).
• Build and validate statistical models (e.g., linear & logistic regression).
• Communicate findings effectively to internal/external stakeholders.
• Assess technical challenges, program solutions, and solve complex problems.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Required Skills: SQL, Python, Statistical Modeling, Problem-Solving, Communication.
• Experience fitting and validating statistical models and interpreting coefficients.
• Experience with servers, Linux/Bash, or WSL.
• Familiarity with Git/GitLab is preferred.
• Advanced Machine Learning experience (random forests, LLMs) is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in related field (Information, Operations Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, IT, or Computer Science).
• Experience: 2-3 years of analytic programming experience, preferably in healthcare.
