Part-Time Home Care Worker

What we’re looking for:

• Passionate about providing excellent service.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
• Comfortable working independently and finding solutions.

In addition, you will need:

• An Open class Australian Driver's Licence & own insured, roadworthy vehicle
• Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role, with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications experience.

The role: As a Care Worker, you will provide home help services such as:

• General housekeeping and making beds
• Cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Washing, folding, and ironing laundry
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping

You will also provide personal care services such as:

• Getting clients out of bed, showered, and dressed
• Assisting with medications, mobility, and therapy goals
• Providing complex care for clients with dementia 
• Providing social and emotional support
• Transporting clients to activities or appointments
• Supporting family carers
