The Opportunity
Looking for a Care Worker to help older members of our community maintain their independence and wellbeing. Join the Silverchain team in the Canberra North area.

What we’re looking for
- Passionate about providing excellent service.
- Can build positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems.
In addition, you will need:
- An Open class Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role
The role
Provide aged care clients with home help and personal care services such as:
- General housekeeping and making beds
- Cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Washing, folding, and ironing laundry
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Assisting clients with personal care, medications, mobility, and transport
- Providing social and emotional support
