Part-Time Home Care Worker - Kogarah - PPT - Experienced

We are looking for a Cert III qualified person with at least 6 months experience to join the Silverchain team in the Kogarah area.

In addition, you will need:

• An Open Class Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
• Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability.
• Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role.

The role

In the role of Care Worker, you will be providing our aged care clients with home help and personal care services such as:

• General housekeeping and making beds.
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day.
• Assisting clients to take their medications.
• Assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
• Providing social and emotional support.
