When was the last time you made a difference in someone's life? For our Aged Care Workers, it’s with every customer, and on every shift. We are looking for just that person to join our KinCare team in the McMahons Point, North Sydney, Neutral Bay, Willoughby, Chatswood - Lower North Shore area.

Your day will include:

• Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people (Maximum of 2 hours of DA work per shift)
• Helping with meal preparation and shopping
• Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
• Personal care (getting up, showering, dressing, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals)
• Providing respite and emotional support
• Social support and transport to appointments
• Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

What do we look for in a Care Worker? Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability or Nursing. Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role. Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications. Additional Immunisations required: Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Helatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TB (if applicable). Current Open class Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.

You are available to work at least 3 days - Monday - Friday. No night or weekend work. You're comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems. You care about assisting our aged community so they can live independently at home for longer.
