When was the last time you made a difference in someone's life? For our Aged Care Workers, it’s with every customer, and on every shift. We are looking for a Care Worker to join our KinCare team in the Manly, Dee Why, Manlyvale, Frenchs Forest - Northern Beaches area.
Your day will include:
- Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people (Maximum of 2 hours of DA work per shift)
- Helping with meal preparation and shopping
- Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
- Personal care: getting them up, showered, dressed, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals
- Providing respite and emotional support
- Social support and transport to appointments
- Complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

What do we look for in a Care Worker?
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing
- 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
- Additional Immunisations (Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TB)
- Current Open Australian Drivers License and registered vehicle
- Available to work at least 3 days, Monday-Friday (No night or weekend work)
- Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to problems, knowing when to ask for help
