This is an exciting time to join our Retail Implementation team as we expand our NAPA store footprint.
Role Responsibilities:
- Set up teams and direct workflow of set-up coordinators to complete store projects on time.
- Oversee and enforce NAPA safety program during store set-up.
- Review store plans to verify fixture placement and business services (counters, hoses, etc.).
- Oversee computer system ordering and installation.
- Determine set-up merchandising team arrival dates.
- Collaborate with coordinators on fixtures, merchandising, data, and phone equipment.
- Coordinate store supply delivery with vendors.
- Order planogram books, price labels, and extra set-up planograms.
- Deliver these items to the merchandising team.
- Order material handling and waste removal.
- Manage delivery and installation of shelving and fixtures.
- Work with distribution center to determine sales area and stockroom merchandise delivery.
- Manage safety for all on-site workers (lifting, ladder, extension cord safety).
- Provide timely project updates.
- Create and distribute reports (end of job, as-built).
- Provide revised planogram information to merchandising team.
- Ensure final walk-through is complete.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of project management experience and people management.
- Previous retail experience (store set-up, planograms, fixtures, or construction preferred).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management software preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of safety requirements preferred.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and excellent communication skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and time management.
- Willing to travel 50-75% of the time.
