Full-Time Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator (Citrix/Omnissa/Vmware)

• Creating Infrastructure level Designs for the implementation/adaptation of enterprise application/solutions, as well as creating the equivalent Operation guidelines.
• Leading and participating in technical negotiations and decisions about the best way to implement new solutions.
• Creating well detailed network flow designs and their further documentation to support implementation.
• Liaising with different specialised technical teams in order to verify the validity of the envisaged infrastructure design.
• Performing, together with the persons responsible for the application/solution, the Proof of Concept and the first deployment on a non-production environment.
• Performing the administrative activities to put such designed in the Operational Production cycle.
• Acting in the expert role of Infrastructure Engineer, coordinating the different Operational Engineers to implement the designs created and bring them to completion.
• Coordinating the members of the Quality Assurance team in order to test the implemented infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in creating Technical Designs with expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS), and Omnissa Horizon.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Citrix and Horizon environments.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise VDI and application delivery solutions.
• Experience configuring and optimizing Citrix components (Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, Citrix Gateway).
• Experience with hybrid environments and cloud-based VDI solutions.
• Experience with monitoring and analytics tools (Citrix Director, VMware vRealize).
• Experience securing Citrix environments using best practices.
• Experience managing and optimizing instant clone pools and profile management.
• Experience implementing CVAD / PVS / Horizon deployments or upgrades.
• Experience integrating PVS / Horizon with hypervisors (VMware vSphere).
• 5+ years of experience in the installation, implementation and configuration of Server Operating Systems (MS Windows and/or Linux).
• 2+ years of experience in adapting Infrastructure Designs, applying/devising Security hardening.
• 3+ years of experience with documenting technical specifications of solutions.
• 3+ years of experience in negotiation on a technical level with different stakeholders.
• Good knowledge in creating Technical Designs, integrating Citrix and Horizon infrastructure with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Active Directory.

Desirable:

• Good knowledge in configuration of application servers to make usage of the different authentication systems, encryption in traffic, file access and database access.
• Ability to troubleshoot all of the mentioned components individually and as a set
