We’re looking for an Intermediate Dev Ops Engineer who thrives on operational reliability and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our AWS infrastructure and CI/CD systems, supporting Certn’s fast-paced product teams.
The intermediate DevOps Engineer will help design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish and follow DevOps best practices.
You will also support efficient infrastructure and operations management, including cloud infrastructure deployment, monitoring, observability, disaster recovery, and compliance - helping ensure reliable and efficient delivery of Certn’s cloud-native applications at scale and enhancing developer experience.
What You’ll Do- Manage and improve our existing AWS-based infrastructure and GitHub Actions pipelines
- Support CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code practices, and developer productivity
- Maintain system observability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing tools
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot build and deployment issues
- Assist with compliance, disaster recovery, and infrastructure documentation
- Work alongside DevOps peers in North America and the UK
- Contribute to a culture of reliability, security, and continuous improvement
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Working knowledge of GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline tools
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation (infrastructure-as-code)
- Understanding of observability practices (monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing)
- 2–4 years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or similar roles
- Familiarity with deploying SaaS or distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team
