Arthur Grand Technologies is seeking a highly motivated IT Architect for a remote position.

Statement of Work: This is a platform for electronically filing returns. It provides SOA based web services for filer submissions, and web applications for client users. It validates filings, determines disposition, and interfaces with client systems.
Task Description: Provide architecture direction and support for system modernization, including collaboration with team and stakeholders for containerization, cloud migration, and target environments. Create architecture artifacts and maintain documentation.
Primary Duties:
- Develop and extend architecture (35%)
- Provide recommendations/solutions for migration to microservices, containers, and cloud (35%)
- Maintain contractual deliverables (10%)
- Identify new business opportunities (10%)
- Provide LoE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs (5%)
- Provide recommendations for implementing DevSecOps practices (5%)
Required Skills/Experience:
- 10+ years experience developing architectures for complex programs
- 10+ years strong customer communication skills
- 5+ years experience leading teams of architects/developers
- 4+ years modernizing complex Java applications for the cloud
- 4+ years modernizing applications with microservices in containers
- 4+ years Kubernetes and OpenShift experience
- 4+ years building AWS GovCloud solutions
- 4+ years experience with Event Driven Architecture
- 4+ years experience with information security for sensitive Java applications
- 4+ years experience maintaining requirements and traceability
- 4+ years experience with the Linux platform
- 4+ years experience with CM tools (e.g., IBM EWM, Git)
- 3+ years experience with middleware (e.g., JBoss, WebSphere, AMQ, Kafka, IBM MQ)
- 2+ years experience developing DevSecOps solutions
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Database modeling tools (e.g., erwin Data Modeler)
- Monitoring solutions
- CMMI Level 3 Process Areas
- Azure/Google Cloud for government
