Be the main go-to person for Finance decision-makers (at the highest level, including HQ CFO) around the system landscape.
Run internal and global teams, and manage local & remote personnel.
Deliver application platforms for the global Finance department, enabling their success.
Leverage internal and external knowledge to continuously improve and adapt solutions.
Develop a long-term vision for the strategic direction of the global Finance applications team.
Contribute to objective setting for the IS (IT) department.
Meet with key stakeholders monthly.
Deliver solutions aligned with agreed SLAs.
Provide L2 and L3 support to the business for issues or outages.
Maintain an aligned and prioritized project list for the business.
Work with the business to deliver projects per their expectations.
Ensure projects meet IS quality and methodology standards.
Bring at least 2 innovation ideas to the organization each quarter.
Delegate tasks offering developmental challenges.
Develop others through clear briefing, monitoring, and debriefing.
Strong Business-level English & Japanese language ability (MUST)
8+ years supporting Enterprise Finance applications globally (MUST)
Strong Finance background, knowledge of Finance processes and applications
Strong experience in requirements gathering and spec creation
Strong experience in task- and project management
Strong team player
People management (10+ staff) and staff development
Key Relationships:
- Director-level leaders (and above) for the Finance department
- Snr. Director, IS ENAD & ENTD (Report line)
- VP, Global Information Systems
