Full-Time IT Infrastructure – Senior Associate

Summary: Configuring infrastructure and deploying applications on Windows IIS hosted platform. Collaborating with Automation, Application support, and other infra teams using integration or dev/ops model to ensure highly available environments and systems.

Job Description:

• Experience with IIS 10 web servers and .NET web applications.
• Configuring Bindings, Website Creation/Deletion
• Website/Configuration Backup
• Understanding of App Pools, Virtual Directory, Worker Process
• Working knowledge of SSL, Access Control, Authentication, and implementing Security
• Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS solution development technologies (Azure Functions, .NET, JavaScript, Python).
• Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools.
• Experience with deployment tools (Octopus preferred)
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell)
• Understanding of IIS, ASP.NET application deployment and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of .NET Framework
• Load balancers & Monitoring tools
• Cloud technology (Azure)
• MS SQL Server support/administration
• Windows Server 2016/2019 administration and troubleshooting
• ITIL process awareness (Change/Incident/Problem) - foundation certification preferred
• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation
• Micro services using Docker and Dockerfile creation
• Docker Compose for DEV & QA Environments
• Deployment orchestration and configuration management tools (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications & Experience:

• English language proficiency (writing, speaking, presenting)
• Expertise with IIS 10, architecture, configurations, and best practices
• Web application management (monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, optimizing)
• Load balancing, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS request flow understanding
• Collaboration with system, database administrators, and application support/development teams for troubleshooting
• Deployment & Configuration Management tools (Octopus Deploy)
• PowerShell scripting for automation of daily tasks
• Windows cluster concepts (load balance, always-on)
• Complete project development life cycle understanding
• Identification of technical/operational bottlenecks
• Technical and process documentation creation and maintenance
• CI/CD Pipeline Knowledge
• Microsoft Azure administrative concepts
• 5-6 years experience with the following skills:

1. PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS: Analytical, troubleshooting, logical thinking, initiative, tenacity, and commitment to resolution.
2. TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Strong IIS administration knowledge, working with App support and Release team, .NET web application management (deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring). Good scripting knowledge for automating tasks.
3. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Building connections, relieving bottlenecks by talking to people. Aligning Dev and Ops goals for the customer experience.
4. ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Excellent organizational and time management skills, awareness of DevOps and ITIL processes.
