Contractor IT Service Manager

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's operations and assets.
• Develop and document disaster recovery and business continuity plans, strategies, and solutions for various scenarios and levels of severity.
• Ensure that all businesses have an effective and comprehensive continuity and disaster recovery plan.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience with Incident/Problem Management, Change Management, Availability Management, and Configuration Management.
• strong knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
• Expert knowledge of IT recovery strategies plans, crisis communication planning, testing of all plans, lessons learned, and corrective action plans.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field

Preferred Skills/ Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning roles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner, with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated and proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams, analyze problems, propose solutions, drive issues to resolution, and make decisions, both individually and when leading a group to reach a conclusion1.
