Full-Time IT Vendor Manager

We are seeking an IT Vendor Manager to join our growing team!

In this role, you will:

• Manage and optimize relationships with technology vendors.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure vendor services meet organizational needs.
• Collaborate with IT teams, procurement, and stakeholders.
• Ensure vendor solutions are cost-effective, compliant, and strategic.
• Establish a vendor strategy plan
• Partner with Brightspeed Procurement
• Serve as liaison/escalation point
• Lead vendor monthly performance reviews
• Manage vendor issues/action plans
• Maintain forecasts for labor/software spend
• Partner with Finance
• Work with Brightspeed leaders
• Support vendor negotiations
• Plan future years' vendor spend

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (CPSM, ITIL) a plus.
• 3+ years experience in IT vendor management/procurement.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation/communication skills.
• Proficiency in contract management/vendor performance tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Knowledge of IT services/technologies.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Proactive and independent work style.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable to a dynamic environment.

• Experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
