MDM JAMF Pro administrator manages and secures Apple devices (Macs, iPhones, iPads) within an organization using JAMF Pro software.
Responsibilities:
- Deploying, configuring, and managing Apple devices (macOS, iOS, iPadOS).
- Implementing and enforcing security policies (device encryption, password policies, app restrictions).
- Automating tasks using JAMF Pro.
- Ensuring security compliance.
- Advanced JAMF Pro Skills: Expertise in automation, API integrations, and scripting (zsh, bash).
- Large-Scale Deployments: Experience managing deployments of 85,000+ devices.
- Automation Workflows: Creating and managing automation workflows using JAMF Pro.
- Security Expertise: Strong understanding of Apple device security (certificates, encryption, compliance policies).
- Scripting: Intermediate to advanced scripting skills (zsh, bash) for automation and reporting.
- API Integration: Familiarity with JAMF Pro Classic and JAMF Pro API for data management and automation.
- Data Management: Ability to read, parse, and manage data using JSON and .plist files.
- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve device management issues.
