Position Overview As a Junior Copywriter, you'll focus on developing thoughtful, original copy that aligns with strategy. You'll understand the "why" behind brands and effectively express that across various mediums. Your primary strengths lie in writing and communication, but you'll also need to think holistically, creating a brand voice applicable across disciplines.
Your responsibilities include:
- Social Media Copywriting: Collaborate on strategy, planning, and execution; contributing to research, audience interviews, and brainstorming workshops. You'll create engaging social media content, develop presentations, and collaborate on client presentations.
- Content Creation: Write copy for social posts, videos, and various channels. Collaborate with designers on brand applications (packaging, websites, emails).
- Process: Work with project managers to define website language and copy guidelines; contribute to social copy and ensure all executions meet goals.
- Brand Copywriting: Contribute to brand strategy; develop brand voice (taglines, headlines, copy); assist in presentations; collaborate with clients on refinement.
- Campaign Concepting: Participate in campaign concept development; develop strategies, communication points, and target audiences; conceptualize creative platforms and ideas; write copy for paid social ads.
Skills & Competencies include a passion for online culture, attention to detail, strong writing skills, and adaptability to diverse brand personas. You need a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: 1-3 years of brand and social media copywriting experience.
