Job Details
Call Box exists to grow people. As the Junior Site Reliability Engineer, you will need a solid foundation in Linux system administration, software engineering, networking, and cloud infrastructure to join our SRE team. This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate closely with development teams to shape scalable, resilient systems and help maintain our expanding AWS environments.
What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using?Terraform/OpenTofu.
- Provide architectural guidance and support to development teams across services and environments.
- Define and monitor SLO’s?and SLA’s.
- Participate in incident response: triage, containment, and root cause analysis.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters.
- Contribute to the evolution of our observability stack, including distributed tracing and log aggregation.
Requirements
Ideal Candidates will have strong working knowledge in the following core operational areas:
- Git
- Terraform/OpenTofu
- Kubernetes
- Linux?system interfaces, administration, and networking
- AWS cloud services and architecture
- Distributed tracing tools and techniques.
- Log aggregation
Required Soft Skills:
- Ability to communicate well across teams, especially in high-stress situations.
- Must possess the ability to learn rapidly
- Be self-directed; find and solve problems independently without having to be prompted.
