Full-Time Junior Software Engineer, Lens

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of Lens, a leading Kubernetes platform.

You will work on innovative features, including integrating AI/ML with the platform.

This role offers experience in Electron, React, Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, Kubernetes, and more, working on Lens Desktop and Lens Cloud.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and UX designers in an Agile team.

Responsibilities:

• Feature development for Lens Desktop and Lens Cloud.
• AI initiatives for product enhancement.
• Building scalable and secure solutions using modern frameworks.
• Collaboration with senior engineers and designers.
• Active participation in Agile ceremonies.
• Continuous improvement of development trends.
• Learning best practices for cloud-native architecture.
• Team support and code reviews.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience (internships or personal projects) in web development.
• Basic understanding of Electron.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and styling pre-processors.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization practices.
• Interest in AI/ML.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of databases and REST APIs.
• Cloud-native development or cloud platform experience.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
• Unit testing experience (Jest, React Testing Library).
